About Chase

After my 4 years with 3 deployments to Iraq in the United States Marine Corps, I was honorably discharged and almost immediately began pursuing a career in the Fire Service. I have spent the past 18 years in Public Safety serving my community as a Firefighter/Paramedic, Lieutenant, Captain, and Battalion Chief. In that time frame, I have served on the SWAT team as a Tactical Medic and with the Special Response Team as a technical rescue firefighter. I’m currently serving as the Deputy Fire Chief.

What Chase brings to VA Disability Hub

Two decades of public service — first to country, then to community — informs the perspective Chase brings to the editorial process. The combat-veteran experience of multiple deployments combined with daily working knowledge of the first-responder community, where many fellow vets are also navigating the VA disability system, shapes how content on this site reads to the people who served.
