• Calculator inputs: Information you enter into our VA disability calculator (ratings, dependents) is processed entirely in your browser. We do not collect, store, or transmit this data.
• Contact form submissions: When you submit our contact form, we collect your name, email address, inquiry type, and message. This information is sent through Resend (our transactional email provider) to our team's inbox so we can respond. We do not store form submissions in a separate database. To prevent spam and abuse, our form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which evaluates browser signals (and may set a short-lived cookie) to verify the submission is not automated. Turnstile is a privacy-preserving alternative to traditional CAPTCHAs and does not track you across sites.

How We Use Information

We use automatically collected information to:

• Analyze website traffic and usage patterns
• Improve our content and user experience
• Serve relevant advertising

Email Subscriber Information

If you sign up for email updates through our footer, COLA alert banner, or tool result emails, we collect:

• Email address and the signup source (which page or tool you signed up from).

We use your email address to:

• Send you the tool results you requested (e.g., your calculator scenario)
• Send periodic VA benefit updates if you opted in (rate changes, new tools, claims tips)

Our email is processed by Resend, our email service provider. Resend stores your email address and subscription status on our behalf.

You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of every email we send, or by emailing [email protected]. We retain your email address until you unsubscribe or request deletion.

We do not sell, rent, or share your email address with third parties.

Third-Party Advertising

We use third-party advertising companies to serve ads when you visit our Site. These companies may use information about your visits to this and other websites to provide advertisements about goods and services of interest to you.

We participate in Google AdSense, which uses cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to our Site and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to our Site and/or other sites on the Internet.
